I have bugger all experience with gemstones. But how much do you guys reckon that would have been worth?

A stone like that Greg you could name your own price if there was a rich enough buyer wanting it. Was sure I saw something about value of $350,000. Would have to be worth over $1m cut.

depends on the clarity aswell and wether its actually clear the whole way or has defects....if perfect definately worth a few hundred k atleast
