hi guys, looking into practicing a bit of river panning around Portland, Vic and was wondering if anyone would be interested to show me and the missus a few things. We got a blue bowl we built to take out and did have a sluice but was told today from a lady at DEPI in Warrnambool that the act of a sluice is no longer a practice in Victoria. So me and the wife are now trying to pan from a river to see if we get the hang of it. If you are interested let me know or akasha we are both from Portland so we really have no place locally to pan for gold but anything is better than not having a go. Thinking of heading out tomorrow afternoon at some stage. FINALLY GOT OUR MINERS RIGHTS TODAY NOW KEEN ON THE LEARNING SIDE. Hazbeen
