Would love one for weight saving :) but the price  The inbuilt battery management claim confuses me as they claim as below and yet redarc, Projecta etc claim a lithium specific battery charger is required for lithium batteries due to a different charge process than other battery types. Ctek charger is 8 stage for lead acid against 5 stage for Lithium. Different voltages supplied at different charge stages ? Cannot see why redarc and Projecta would go to the cost of producing and developing specific chargers if this was not the case ? Interesting ? This article explains pretty well the reasons why different charge procedure required. http://www.enerdrive.com.au/can-charge-lithium-battery-lead-acid-charger/ CHARGING The iTECH120 battery is the ultimate in light weight power technology. This is a direct replacement for your older and heavier batteries, and will require no changes to your charging system. Battery chargers must have a cut off point of 14.7v or less.
