I have been eying off a few dollies in prospecting stores lately wanting to make one myself for that bucket of hot rocks and quartz that make the detector signal. I showed a few pics to my father and brother in law in conversation and to my surprise my brother in law presented me with this model he made from scrap at his workplace. He is a boiler maker by trade so this would of taken him a tenth of the time if I had of had a go and the welding is seamless! He even improved the design by extending the solid rod handle to create more weight and ease not having to bend down. Can't wait to crush some rocks up and my kids will give it a fair work out too whilst out detecting.
