Sadly though you would have to be extremely lucky to find a nugget big enough for the Aldi detector to give you a signal, especially at any depth in the ground. I placed a 2 gram nugget on the ground and asked him to wave his machine over it ... he got nothing. I waved my GPX5000 over it and it screamed!</p><p></p><p>You can do your research by Googling whether there were any gold finds/mines in the area. There are also maps available in most detecting shops.</p></blockquote><p></p>
