I bought a roll of this 38mm canvas layflat http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-5-38mm-x-20m-Roll-High-Pressure-Canvas-Lay-Flat-Hose-/141466612457?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item20f01132e9 Just tried to put some aluminium camlock fittings on it, and I can't for the life of me get it to slip over the fittings. It just barely goes onto the first barb of the fitting, but refuses to go any further. I tried warming it with the wife's hair dryer and putting liquid soap on the fitting but still no go. Is there a trick to this, or do I have a faulty hose? I have emailed the seller to ask but don't expect to get much joy there.
