Garrett Ace 250 vs Minelab GO FIND 40

Hi Guys,

I'm interested in getting into prospecting and was wondering if you guys could tell me which of the following detectors you'd recommend for a beginner.

Garrett Ace 250 vs Minelab GO FIND 40

They are both around the same price. The Minelab seems like it is easier to use and more compact. I'm worried that the Minelab won't cut it from a searching point of view.

Prospecting? Or coin, and relic hunting? Ace 250 cant be accused, of being a flimsy toy

Coins and beach searching to start of with and then moving into prospecting afterwards.

Neither will be much good for gold. The ace is a proven machine for coins, relics, and super durable.

Have a look through my thread if you want Melo07,.. just to see what out can get out of the Ace250,... can't comment on the Go40 as I've never even heard of it at all.
