Thanks to this site, my young daughter and I had a fantastic trip to Mt Crawford in the Adelaide hills. We picked up some red jasper, black tourmaline and citrine quartz.
Well my daughter's name is Jade. I've been promising her I'd buy her some jade at some point. Then I found out there's black jade near Cowell. I understand that most of the mines are run by one company. Does anybody know where we can do a little fossicking? Any other ideas for the Adelaide hills, Yorke peninsula or Eyre peninsula would be most weclome.
