Hi
Has any one replaced the rubber shroud on the coil lead?? mine has decided to come off in bits.
If so what did you use for replacement
Cheers

If it's deteriorating like the one in Grubstake's link and it were mine;

I'd remove the plug and fit some adhesive lined heat-shrink over the full length of the cable.
Plain heat-shrink will work but maybe not as well as adhesive lined.

Use the smallest heatshrink size that will easily slip over the cable. 10mm?

The down side of this approach is that it will make the cable stiffer and you also need someone with the right soldering gear and skills to take the plug off and refit it.

Is it worth approaching the manufacturer and asking for some help or a replacement?
