3 carat Rubyvale green sapphire

A pretty 3 carat Rubyvale green sapphire in a barion square cushion, which is actually a green-yellow parti sapphire. However I was not able to orient it to show the yellow in the face up position as this would have required cutting away the majority of the good stone. Stone contains a couple of minor inclusions, not easily visible to the naked eye.

While the stone is essentially green in the normal viewing position, it does show a few yellow sparks down one side as it it turned.

Now there's a thought - some of the stones I cut might actually outlast humanity.

I think every stone youve cut will outlast humanity. Theyve been in the ground for time we cant comprehend and will last the same out and cut. :Y:
