This tiny piece of gold was among 4 bits of bird shot. If I had given up after finding the first slug, I would not have found this bit. The area is near the Happy valley ford crossing. Even though it's been flogged to death there are still quite a few nuggets left. The area is an ancient river bed and has visible rounded quartz everywhere. 6 other members of our team found gold all within the sub gram size. :Y:</p></blockquote><p></p>
