Just got a call from another keen to get into detecting bloke, who has fallen victim to the eBay fakes, he (bob) just bought a minelab 5000 for $4765.54 was the winning bid anyway he got it yesterday avo, put the leads together and turned it on. Nothing, charged the battery and tried again...
