Yep, I have that coil. I usually try to run it on normal about 6rx gain. but if its to noisy i switch to enhance and a little higher rx gain

Hi John, I have a Garrett ATX with both 10 x 12 dd and the 15 x 20 mono, I also have Nuggetfinder advantage mono coils 16", 18" and 20" for the 4500 but haven't really tried them out. Do you think these mono's will do better than the 24dd?

I was quite surprised yesterday, I hit a mullock heap in kalgoorlie with the 24dd on 4500. Picked up a little iron piece that the garrett with the standard dd could not pick up. It was only about 6 inches deep. I thought the 24dd was only for big targets and was really surprised it outperformed...

I have been running my 24dd on my 4500, But a mate told me it would run better on one of the older machines without the digital display. But didn't elaborate any further. Can someone please help me. I can't find much info on these coils as they are not being made anymore.
