Hey guys, just curious to know. That if i made a venturi style nozzle, added a foot valve and strainer on it. Would it allow me to go to a bigger sluice without having to buy a bigger pump? Looking at dredge videos if it sucks up hesps of rocks etc. Surely it would suck up a heap more water?

Trommel for sale!! 6.5hp engine. Slips in and out of any 6x4. 12 inch sluice. 6.5hp water pump with all hoses to suit. $2500 ono. And will negotiate with pump and trailer.

With a few days to spare over the Christmas holidays, i had a bit of a hunt around and found some bits and pieces and started putting this thing together!! Any constructive criticism would be muchly appreciated!!

Hey all, names Brandt new to the forum! I started looking for a bit of gold about 3 months ago with a highbanker that i built. Have had an absolute ball with it. And now in the process of building a trommel.
