Hi Guys, I built one off Shauno's plan and it is definitely designed to catch all, with only water/some overflow to go through to the pump. I overfilled it once and then the gravel etc started to get to the pump and overtime some of the rocks don't blow out of the pump so it is an easy clean...

Thanks Matt, I built one of these but could only get a 35lt pm pump but still is great ! Can only imagine how well the bigger pump would suck, when I kill this pump I'll go bigger. I attached the pump to a board so you can stand/kneel on it like a skate board. Great work and thanks again Pete

I made a tool with a bit of metal tubing, prob 12mm, bent it at the end so about 3-4 cm at about 45 degree angle to the rest which is the handle about 40cm long. Bashed the end bit narrower, about 6mm, then took to it with a hack saw to put a point on it going back from the bottom lip. Works ok...
