Geovic is your friend. Play around with different layers. Then check out google earth as a cross reference. Helps to narrow things down.

Quiet nightshift and the weather is meant to crap out tomorrow so decided to get out and have a look around. Only got the one.

Went out for a couple of days last week and was happy to pick these up. Just over 0.6g. Can't beat the feeling when it's colour and not shot or a nail :) Going out again for 3 days this week and hopefully add to it.

Happy to find my first puddler when out and about yesterday. Not happy about the hole in the side of it. Took less than a minute to fill it in. Does really make you wonder about the mindset of some people out there.

Taking a bit of long service leave this winter and have July and August off. Am tossing up, where to head. Have a 4WD and camper trailer and don't mind getting out to the middle of nowhere. Just can't decide whether to head up to Nth Qld or over to WA. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hello all. Have only done one day of detecting and am hooked. I live on the western edge of the Vic goldfields and pick up my new detector next weekend and can't wait to get into it. Great Forum with lots of good info, very helpful for what is an extremely steep learning curve for me. Cheers Tim
