I will get an electrician to check the power at home when i get some fans fitted to our home. I don't think my multi metre is good enough. I am leaning towards the 10kw solar system for our home at the moment. After rebates its around $8000.

Good info Bacchus thank you. to check the power on a good sunny day do you just put your volt metre into a power point in your home and check the voltage is that right.

Thanks for all the info you are giving me, I'm sorry that my first post is not about prospecting. We are buying a house and want to reduce our out of pocket expenses later in life when money will be problem on a pension. I do take interest in this forum for info on prospecting, new gadgets...

Has any member or a friend of one have a 10kw system installed. thinking of installing one myself but would like to know what the savings might be. even though all homes have different conditions i would like to get as much info form those who might have the large system running. Thanks Gary.
