    GPZ7000: Info, Tips, Finds

Yeah I'm having success using low smoothing and cranking the sensivity up. Anything to stop it chattering. Im also having to to a full reset a few times a day, it may be because I frequently swap between gold modes... is anyone else having to do this?

I can't believe a nugget was found in a tree! I got a whopping signal a few weeks ago which I thought was a nice deep nugget. But as I dug deeper it got quieter. I realised it was about a foot up the trunk of a tree. I just put it down to a bullet being lodged in the trunk....... I'm heading...

    Minelab GPZ7000 information and questions

I would rather sell my kidneys then sell my GPZ. Its finding gold where other machines have been before, its a perfect excuse to get into my favourite place - the outdoors, its good for my health and my retirement plan, and its the perfect way to relax. I highly doubt people are selling them...

    3.8oz GPZ Find

Glad you like them Lambi. I agree, they are super comfy. They have a metal eyelet on the top of the boot which doesn't get in the way of the coil, but i use it to remember what a good sounding target should sound like when I'm digging up a clay dome or when its been a long while between...

    3.8oz GPZ Find

Gday Folks. Had a F*^$ing awesome (thanks Wooly) day out with the GPZ yesterday. Found 3 nice nuggets within about 20 meters from each other. A 3.8oz, 22g and 5g. The area is well detected and i can almost put my life on others being there before me. Im 99% sure the the big one was on standing...

    Minelab SDC2300 information and questions

The good thing about the SDC is that is will find a nugget that is practically weightless. Iv found one that weighs less then 0.01g!! After finding a few of these small pieces use a larger coiled machine to go over the sam area in search of something deeper and larger. Its worked for me...

    Minelab SDC2300 information and questions

I used tape and it fixed the problem. Also, make sure you put the battery door on properly so the spring is right over the battery end and has a good connection. This has totally stopped the problem for me. I also noticed that id only get the cut out when the batteries were nearly flat.

7000 NON OWNERS BAND FROM COMMENTING

Im glad! The amount of rot that was being spoken about the price, GPZ vs. GPX, depth,.... blah blah blah was becoming unbearable.

    Minelab GPZ7000 information and questions

I did monetarily switch over to high yield and had a 5 min scan around the area i found those 2 nuggets. But my theory was.. if it was it was finding nuggets on that setting i should leave it. Ill give high yield a go next week. good luck out there.
