I was playing around with the settings last evening getting used to ground noise In relatively mineralised ground. 18 ,normal,extra deep ,no smoothing. Then checking in difficult. I wouldn't have heard it otherwise.

I found this bit last evening , .54g

Eight hrs ,two. Sandwiches ,four litres for this little fella.

There's a time at twilight when the distractions of daylight fade ,the cool breeze dose its thing and the the sounds of the detector saturate the ears ...... Detecting heaven love it.

Got this bit a few days ago .Not much for 6 hrs but good being out there.

Great finds guys .I found this little tacka yesterday evening .The best thing about going back to work after the break....I get to go detecting on the way home for a few hrs,after deliveries.love it !

Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge and experiences on this forum .It's a great way to learn the 'art' of prospecting ,the 'show and tells' really keep you fired up to get out there and squeeze in those extra hrs, that can be the difference between gold and no gold . All the best...
