Nugget Finder Z search GPZ coils

There are in-situ targets still in the ground because theyve been missed on previous excursions, theyve been found either through the better sensitivity of the Zsearch 12R or missed because of previous EMI, Saturation signals, Salt/Conductive signals or a combination of them all. It is far...

Nugget Finder Z search GPZ coils

Phrunt your experiences are completely at odds with many of our customers here in QLD and also my own. There is a very obvious improvement in sensitivity over standard both in Difficult and also Normal. In hot ground there is an obvious improvement over standard on Saturation signals and also...

    Faulty enhancer or not ?

To get rid of the noise you need to lift the booster volume above 2 1/2, on older machines with no volume control this can be an issue when using headphones. Try some headphones with a volume control so you can lift the booster volume. JP

    B&Z booster information

To be fair to the B&Z its been available since 1996 and has gone through a number of design changes over that time, I personally have made close on 4000 units with many thousands being made before I took on manufacturing. The originals had a hard wired cable to the audio source and were prone to...

    X Coils for GPX/QED/GPZ detectors

Hi Rick, I think you will like it in your ground where there is soil cover, in gravelly ground where there is no soil cover and the gravel is full of Magnetite and Hematite they will saturate quite readily. If you want to use General/Difficult you will soon discover it hates being rubbed or...

    X Coils for GPX/QED/GPZ detectors

Hi Rick, am playing with a 22 coil as we speak. It is heavier than the GPZ14 but is a Spiral wound coil. Major issue is with Touch and Rub sensitivity in areas with lots of twiggy sticks so makes General/Difficult a problem unless the ground is bare. Saturation is also pretty bad as well, and as...

    Clermont Qld information and questions

SDC in this case is the best option for Clermont. Little nuggets are available for a Monster user if your patient and come to terms with targeting specific areas where the mineralisation is not too severe. One of the better areas is Bathampton GPA especially up the northeastern end in the...

    Cleremont- New GPAs

The Dam is about 20k from town, the quickest way to get to the new GPAs coming in from Theresa Creek dam is to turn left off onto the Clermont Alpha bypass road (just before the concrete course way, this will take you past the new solar farm, there are a few Ks of dirt) taking that to the Alpha...

    Cleremont- New GPAs

Prospectors are a tight lipped lot so the early birds who know a thing or too are not saying much. There is gold in both of the new GPA's but you need to be prepared to put in the effort as the areas are huge with few tracks. You can't just drive up to a set of diggings and start swinging in...

Are Settings for a Double D the Same as a Mono Coil? GPX5000

The GPX discrimination with DD coils is not effective using Cancel or Mono modes, only DD mode works properly with discrimination. JP

    Minelab Equinox tips and questions

No offence taken other than feeling it needed to be pointed out. I completely understand the thirst for info on the EQ, it sure has been a long wait. In future will contact mods and FYI if I have any concerns, I too am spread pretty thin on various projects so don't always get the time to read...

    Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Why are the mods allowing screen shots and direct quotes from other forums on here? The proper thing to do would be to put a link to where the information is posted not do a direct copy and paste or a screen shot of the post. My comments are not anything secret I'm just not comfortable with...

    The SETA Project DVD

Just found this post, thanks everyone for the feedback, it's nice to know the videos are still helpful after all this time. One thing of note though, since the release of the new flat wound coils I recommend running the Gain around Factory Preset (FP for the General Search mode) and also using...

Minelab Gold Monster 1000 tips and questions

It takes practice to get the Auto GB and Auto Sensitivity to play together but its well worth it when you get used to the work flow. I'm not a fan of being locked out of GB controls etc, but its still a decent little VLF that more than holds its own against the GBII. If I'm using any sort of VLF...

    GPZ7000 19" coil GPZ19 information and questions

I've been following a number of threads like this one all over the net lately and have noticed its the same trend that always appears when something new arrives, especially something that has "Great Expectations". Minelab have kicked a lot of goals over the last 20 years so hopes are always...

    GPZ7000 19" coil GPZ19 information and questions

Norvic, I highly recommend you use the High Yield Normal modes with the GPZ19 in your country, less knock and bump sensitivity and greater depth. Keep an eye on the Ferrite balance its a lot more lively in High Yield so needs to be checked and trimmed often. JP

Very Dry In Clermont and not just the weather !

I've not been promoting my business on this site intentionally other than showing people that gold IS coming out of Clermont this year. I've not looked at the sponsorship arrangements here so apologies if my posting here has contravened any rules. JP

Very Dry In Clermont and not just the weather !

These are nuggets that have come out of Clermont GPAs in the last few weeks, along with many more each and every day and rumours of a very large piece being weighed at the Clermont Post Office recently. The 29 gram bit was found with a GPX 4500 and Teds 16 gram piece with his new GPZ 7000. I am...

    Our Z Thread

When next out detecting please perform a re-set all settings via the Quick Start screen (top left icon, then right selection option) then after the auto tune has been performed keep holding the coil away from the ground and not touching the Quick Trak button, change the Tone to the way you like...

    Our Z Thread

Bit concerned with the High Volume setting Big Nugget, headphones or WM12 speaker? If WM12 then that's probably ok. Also what Audio Smoothing setting were you using? jp
