    Around the $1,000 mark to find gold?

    I have a Garrett AT Gold,it's lite,waterproof,easy on batteries,has visual as well as audio,came with a good set of headphones and has all the settings you could want for a detector in that $1000.00 price range. I like my AT Gold. Cheers, weeg.

    I have a Garrett AT Gold. I have yet to find any yellow in the field,but I have tested it at home and picked up small pieces of gold I buried in the garden without any trouble. I think the Garrett is a good detector for the money and it is completely waterproof. Cheers, weeg.
