Sometimes pays to check your hot rocks
Went out detecting with the GPX 5000 on Thursday and got a faint signal in a mullock heap adjacent to an old shaft. Dug down about 5" and the target was out. It appeared to be just another of those pesky hot rocks which abound on the field, apparently just iron impregnated sandstone. Passing it...- Fox
