Thanks Heatho mate, good to know :) i also found this at wellingrove a while back, its the only stone i have found from there which shines light like this, its also completely smooth unlike most sapphire and zircon from wellingrove. its a bit small to scratch anything with, only .3 ct... any ideas?

Awesome colours, what sort of a stone is right for a cab? All these stones are my bigger and nicer ones, all between 1-4 cts, some bombs but hopefully some cutters ;) This is the latest sapphire from kookabookra only half a ct but a nice deep blue.

Great stones everyone. Here's the first sapphire i ever found, 6.6cts but mostly a bomb :rolleyes: .. Still the biggest i have found in 3 trips to wellingrove haha. Luckily not the best ;)

g'day everyone, my father and i went to kookabookra for the day a while back, these are some of the pieces collected, any help is appreciated! (i can upload more photos if needed) :) This rock was actually found at yarrow creek, it is all colors of green through to black and is quite heavy...
