I have the sdc2300 and I'm tossing up between the steelphase , zx pros pr ss300 headphones . Is it true you don't need a booster/enhancer if you use the zx pros or ss300's?

@Ded Driver .. spot on with the chatterbox 1000 haha I have seen people use full sensitivity with the GM1000 in hot ground and pull out nuggets and ignore the hot rocks. I find that they all sound the same , my ears cant pick up the different tones lol Maybe I should try headphones

@choofa... I have tried ground balancing but it's still noisy.. might have to play around with the sensitivity a bit more. I just dont want to miss any gold haha :P I will definitely check out that video ! Thanks :)

Hello everyone! I have the GM1000 and I just had a question. Is it normal when I get a target, that the gold monster picks up any and every hot rock in that spot? I spent 25 mins digging up at least 15 hot rocks from the same hole. I also tried putting down the sensitivity and still the same...

Rubbish everywhere lol.. hoping to find my fortune hiding within it though ;) haha

Hello, I'm brand new to metal detecting and I received a gold monster 1000 as a gift. I was wondering if anyone knew a spot that has some gold in it? I want to try and get my partner interested, so any help would be appreciated!

Can anyone point me in the right direction to go panning around the tullarook area ? It's the only place close to home that may possibly have gold but I'm at a loss for where to go :( Any help would be really appreciated

Was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and if it is any good ? I cant afford $1000 for a gold monster :(
