Hi Steve Thanks for that, it is very helpful. I have had a look at the Gold Monster 1000 and watched some Utube vids on it being used. There are more good than bad reviews for it, I also noticed the minelab has currently none in stock, so it looks like a good seller. Octoberish sounds good...

Hi Guys Just got interested in gold detecting along with my son. We are in the Melbourne area and intend to give it a go around October. I have been looking at detectors, mainly in the Miners den. I want something that's not too complicated, but also not rubbish. Can anybody suggest a few model...
