Thanks mate fair bit of time went into this build made the trommel & frame perfect length That slides into the ute also adjustable legs that can be taken off with 1 bolt. Had it spinning beautifuly on its stand today. Tomorrow ill make the feeder and bottom chute then time to run its first...

Also made a new base on the willoughby more durable and slides apart easier. :perfect:

Just wondering what experienced people think about the patriot faceting machine. Would this be a good machine for a beginner? Also what to look out for when buying one. This machine is 3 years old only used handful of times. As I'm a beginner not sure on the value or there quality. Any advice...

Hey Wally cheers. Yer nice I'd say it would be rectangle in cross section... that's good to know with the double refraction. One thing I noticed at first glance in the sun it sought of changed colour on diff angles. Looked slightly blue then pink also clear... I'm stoked either way zircon, topaz...
