anyone know any good places to dig for crystals? around the Townville all the way up to cooktown area?
Any help would be great as I am quite new and not much knowledge on where / what to look for

just wondering if anyone has any tips for or locations on finding amethyst around the cairns / tablelands area?
Ive been finding large clear quartz clusters and terminators but don't know much about the amethyst :)
