Hi all, anyone have any idea what the blue stuff is in this quartz vein? Pic doesn't show it very well but its a deep blue to black color mixed in and around the pyrite.

Found some quartz diorite looking rock in a creek that contained alot of iron pyrite and what looked to be gold, crushed a couple pounds up classified and panned the smaller stuff with a stainless dog bowl...(never panned in my life :lol: ), what i though was stubborn sand that wouldnt get out...

Could be slag but the general texture and shapes says otherwise, in the sun the silver is showing through the tarnish in doors its almost black to a dark grey, it doesnt seem magnetic tried with large neo magnets with no movement at all, conducts electrictricity with some resistance..

SG - 4.5 Streak - metalic black Thinking maybe native titanium, the small peice thats exposed colored when heated..

Seems to ne non magnetic. Heavy for its size. Has pearl metallic silver slight copperish color inside. Same pearl like metallic luster can be seen on outside under sunlight beneath the outside tarnish.
