the Mrs just arranged a GM1000 for my birthday, so heading out to Durikai on sunday. this will be my 1st time using a detector, so if anyone of you happen to be heading out, and feel like teaching a noob some basics, that would be great. cheers jimmy

Hi, are there any updates on this? i have only just started fossicking, i just bought a sluice, i wet to Gympie yesterday, to try it out and ran into a couple of guys who said the sluice was illegal. after a quick search i found this thread. now after reading through here, and the fossicking...
