    Interesting bird band find

I went for a swing this morning at a local park that I have flogged pretty hard. Im surprised I still find anything there aside from junk. Today my first find looked like kids jewellery and I put it in my coin pouch though normally it would go in the trash bag lol. When I got home I cleaned it...

    SD2200D Upgrade to GPX5000

Hi All I have a SD2200D that works well and I have a coil collection to go with that detector. I use that detector and my SDC2300 as my gold hunting combo. Recently I've been tempted with all the GPX4500 and 5000's that have come on the market probably due to the 6000's release. Have any of you...

Coil Compatibility With Older Minelab Detectors?

Hello all I have an older SD2200d with a good selection of coils. Ive been thinking recently with all the good sales on 4500s and 5000s that I might upgrade. Does anyone know if my coils from the SD will work on the newer GPX units? Cheers Bear

I got lucky on the beach.

I spent the low tide yesterday with the Wife at Mona Vale. Lots of beaver tails and bits of old tin cans. She found one current 5 cent coin and I found these two good luck cards. Boy my heart jumped when I first saw the glint of gold. Wish they were real. Nice n heavy lol Bear

I've seen some videos about soaking the head in oil but looking for advice...

Sito Scoop carbon handle doesn't fit

Gday all I recently purchased a SITO scoop from Sito and a matching carbon handle. I assume the receiver for the handle on the scoop is made incorrectly, warped from welding, or just plain the wrong size. I have measured the inside ID of the scoop and it is predominantly 37mm though in a couple...
