Well no gold.... again lol....but was good to go over targets with the nox after the Z - 18-22 comes up with bullets - & also 3-6...which are all gold numbers on the beaches ahhh well any tips from you rockhunter62 or Rmoutback?..seems like its an interesting enough thread to get you to comment...

might swap back to the standard coil on the zed...I've also just picked up a nox 800 so will try that in gold mode next time i head out also as has the smaller coil and i've seen some pretty impressive signals on youtube..and did test at home to check what tones to listen for.

well another trip to durikai (2 days - 4-5hrs each day) and more bullets & bullet cases, lots of lead and old bits of fence, tin and trash! no mozzies or ticks was a bonus and weather was perfect! have to wonder...is it really worth it heading out there? or maybe try travel to further...

Na, I just use images from google earth, and then hit the dirt tracts with the gps...I've taken a few wrong turns but its all part of the journey lol I think you can try google maps for durikai and pay small amount of money and get some maps, but not sure what website is.

i was all set!! but gonna have to change up plans to next week which is good and bad...good news is I'll be out there for Thurs & Fri!! Bad news, gotta wait a week for diggin holes in the bush!! see ya next week Durikai!

Hey all!! I've been detecting since sept/Oct last year..and lots of trash and led bullets..tried carbeen, andos, nothin but crap so far lol......then stopped over summer as way to hot...and got a ctx3030 for the beaches here on the Goldy to keep me entertained in between gold field trips...

Any luck in Clermont?? I ended up just beach detecting along the sunny coast last couple weeks..probably found more gold than if would have headed to the bush... lol gold is gold !! scored a few rings, bracelet, and pendant..between 9ct - 18ct approx 14grams yew!! But heading out to Durikai...

Change of plans slightly - was gonna camp on a private prop within Durikai but they're going on holidays also Doh!!! ...Prob gonna do sunny coast for little beach hunt, then to Cracow...then head back to Goldy slowly lol

2 weeks off!! Yew!! heading out to Durikai, maybe stay Glendons..or on another property (bought a gold rush nugget bucket for panning!) .. then possibly head north to Cracow..then back through Gympie!!..and do some beach detecting between sunny coast and goldy! Gotta get away from these...
