great day out yesterday in the triangle. Got a faint signal on the gpz ???? hot rock or ground noise was my thought but after a scrape with the boot the signal was stronger and down about 12 cm, a flat bit popped out! 1.2g I seem to be finding plus gram bits now with the Z, Long piece was 0.8...

Looks like the little town of Avoca will die a slow death now? Really liked the Avoca area and would have lunch there regularly Feel sorry for the locals

Great nuggets Please dont crush the specie as it will just ruin it. Slowly dissolve the host rock away and see what it looks like, you may be impressed. Crushed species just produce the same gold the massive mine companies produce. Nothing special Thanks for the pics

Hi Was out for an overnighter to Bendigo from Melbourne and did a 2 day detect. Wasnt amazing but managed to ping a little 0.1g And a 0.5gm. At least there was a rattle in my container? So my test nugget (1gm) had some friends. BUT when I got home, realised my nugget container was gone...

Great start to 2021 after a bit of a dry spell from Wedderburn. Santa got me a 7000 ! But any detector would have found it ... 5 cm deep Weight 2.01 grams. Smaller one .3 Good to contribute to the forum for once.

Got out after a looooooong time. Managed to get a few good bits.Hadn't got a >1 grammar in ages.Biggest piece 1.67g :P Nice to support the small towns again with buying lunch ,coffee and petrol. Must have been tough for them.
