I splashed out and bought Clive Clynicks book Equinox series from beginner to advanced. I haven't detected in a long while due to injury, but it is very helpful.
I went nuts in the last week. I bought a Makita 18v mower and whipper snipper, a network server and 20TB of hard drives and finally i succumb to buying a red belly carbon fibre shaft for my NOX.
3 week trip from Brisbane to Mt .Isa then Townsville and back with me and 2 teenager boys. Rhino rack up top had 2 swags and pop up tent, 3 chairs small gas bottle and a kings luggage bag that was massive. 3 suitcases towels blow up mattress and 2 doonahs. rear drawers had tools and gas cooker...
There was a thread here that showed the findings of a Gofind. The OP was, at my best recall, canrobertsan......... Can I get his post of his finds pinned to the Minelab post page? Trying to get one of my boys inspired. Thanks in advance......
An Equinox 800. Already had it out the backyard after using the 705 and the monster coil. This thing went nuts. I seriously can't wait to get it out to my hunt sites.
Actually, scratch that. I cancelled my NOX order from Anaconda because they said my order failed. When I rang them, they said they expected DOUBLE the amount of the purchase for "security" in my PayPal account!!!!!!!!
I ordered an EQ600 as an upgrade to my 705. I'm very happy about it. But IMHO there is still loads of distortion around the NOX. More than the Super League war of the 90's!! Haha. So I'll make up my own mind. GL & HH
I ordered my 600 today. Every second post pretty much says "Found this over already hammered ground". Definitely won't need a gold machine yet. Parks and beach only. And yeah, the Equinox momentum is huge.
