Hey hey, This is going to be my little blog posts about my trips down the beach with my minelab go find 40. Man if only we lived in the world of fallout I could get so many nucka colas with the amount of bottle caps I find each trip. Anyway here is a picture of the cute lil three pence I found...

Found my first pre decimal last week. A three pence was thrilled. I'm not going to sell it . Something has to be really valuable to outwin the sentimental value of the find. :) Been over that section of the beach heaps of times too it's almost like someone put it there recently haha

I got my go find 40 from Anaconda for $250. There was no special but if your nice enough the staff just discount stuff down for ya. I've had quite a bit of Luck in dry sand, but it doesn't do great in wet sand. I think it's sometimes due to rock being below and sometimes depth meter is just out...

Has anyone seen the show Detectorists? I feel it perfectly depicts my life. :D :cool:

Hi guys, Ive just bought a mine labs go find 40 couple of days ago and already obsessed with looking for treasures on the beach. Just wondering if you have any tips for a noobie? Will the go find 40 be capable of finding gold at all or should i stick to beaches ? Anyhelp would be awesome thanks
