Was getting one to try in WA but not now. I can't afford to drive 4k just to find detector not working and not up for replacement. It seems Minelab are trying hard to trash their previously trusted name for a few dollars
Have used for years in most states and it's fantastic
Not just when you're in the field but also as prospecting aid. Perfect for WA where knowing your position within metres really counts. Also just so cheap.

it only appears $500 difference. I will bet it has lots of extras you will need in that price- different coils, batteries and miscellaneous that will cost you $1000+ to buy on top of the core unit. Get a list and price them for yourself
