Thanks so the way to do it is wire the detector output into pot and feed the the amp from the pot. Is this correct?I have a gpx4500.i am going to use mono plugs. Is this ok to run a single speaker. Thanks for the help :)

Hi just wondering I have a class d amplifier with no pot. Do I wire the metal detector out put to the pot and then to amplifier or output of amplifier to the pot and the pot to the output socket going to speaker? Thanks Rob :) :)
