I recently came across this minelab coil. Just wondering if anyone knows what it fits? I did some searching myself, but didn't find anything. Any help is appreciated.

Did my first beach detecting in Rockingham WA recently, with my Garrett Infinum. Phil fixed it for me a while back, but I hadn't had any time to make a post in the last 9 months, as I've been travelling.

yes. I tried both. I was thinking it might be electrical interference. I did think I was far enough away from power-lines and such, on the beach. How far away from civilization do I have to be? I'm about 800m from power-lines (through trees). But if that's affecting the Infinium then I'd say it...

Thank you. Should have thought if that myself. According to the manual it comes with a tornado coil. Assuming all tornado models are waterproof, then I'm guessing it's waterproof. Cheers!

Does anyone know what the standard coil is for the Sovereign Elite? Is it waterproof? I'm thinking if buying a Sovereign I've seen, that comes with it's original coil. It's possible they didn't have enough information on him at the time of the other scams. But I practically sent them a full file on the guy. They were "impressed", and couldn't believe I got his photo, real phone number and address. And thanks to those who files complaints about him in the past...

Thanks you for the information Goldtarget. I wasn't clear on a few things you mentioned... Are you suggesting that a Fisher Gold Nugget or Whites GMT would be better than the AT or 705.... but I should consider getting a PI (like Minelab 3000)? If so, I would love to. BUT, I do have a budget...
