Had a good win this morning.....1919 One Penny (very corroded this time) and 1936 Threepence, oh and a very old gold ring. The ring looked like old junk very dirty, looked like aluminium or similar. Put it in the pocket like all things and cleaned it up once home. What a nice surprise, to see...
I agree....it was just a quick look at a place with my 4 year old in tow. He is my good luck, found first gold with him and now this coin my oldest to date. I get more of a thrill out of this than I did riding dirt bikes! My other button from around 1850 still amazes me!
Hey mate, sorry for delay...just saw this comment now!!
Pretty much stock F1A4.....I have a coil adapter from the *bay (looking at changing that as it appears to have an earthing issue). I have modded the audio plug to accept any set of headphones rather than the milspec type. I made a ground...

I hate to add this but I will.... after hitting the goldfields and coming home with muddy boots the other week. I heard about this wavy coin business..... So we emptied the change jar, there were a lot of 20 cent coins...my son kept pulling out the 1966 ones and look what we found :) Not the...

This was found with a Minelab F1A4 with all standard fittings.....0.23grams.
