Ha Ha....I forgot to mention how messy my tabs were on the bottom....somewhere I got a measurement wrong and had to wing it!
The rivets turned out quite smooth inside, no problem putting my hand (or kids hands ) in there.

I am a keen snorkeller and tho I don't plan on taking my detector diving I wouldn't mind the option of taking it for a snorkel. Or even the option of recovering targets from waist deep water, which would mean submerging my head...

the first point was all i needed...my current understanding is that all nuggets eroded from rich quarz....or escaped via faultlines in a reef...
But that doesn't seem to be the case......which led to my initial post....
