    Winter is here

While in the wait to find someone with a brake to make 4 bends for me, I found a rota pan (2nd hand) for sale. I purchased it and got out to the river for a few hours on November 2nd and ended up with 1 1/2 20 liter pails of heavy sand to work with for the winter. Also ordered in a California...

Aluminum Price Comparison - AU vs Canada

A few days after I posted this topic one of my buds had 2 sheets of 4x8x2mm aluminum in his garage and wanted 90$ for each of them. Wals' Hi-banker Specifications

Wal - Wondering what is the best setup for gold only - no gemstones in the Canadian rivers. Would you leave the length of the highbanker as in what is shown in your photo`s ?? I found some 2mm aluminum in a friends shop that he let me have for a very good price. :)

Aluminum Price Comparison - AU vs Canada

Thanks Wal - I`ll include the 1.6 mm in my pricing tomorrow. I have priced some of the high bankers in the USA and I could get them sent to my doorstep priced better than what this business was offering. I think I will have more fun making my own brake for bending the material :)

    Wals' Hi-banker Specifications

Had a bit of time to start sourcing parts today at the local big box hardware store. The guy who I questioned about matting looked at me like I had a big horn growing out of my forehead? I had to come home and check the mirror ;)
