    the amount of times iv gone into these old areas looking for old bottles, especially torpedo bottles, and found nothing but smashed ones, and these idiots are just sticking them in the bin makes me jealous and angry at the same time. ill have to come up at some stage and get a look at the site...

    hey mate, living in Bendigo i would assume anywhere you can find bed rock and water is worth panning. jump on google maps and look for water ways on public land, cross reference the names of these creeks and streams with the exempted rivers list and you should be good to go.

    ill have a squiz mate. i think the creeks i was hearing of were about 10 minutes north-north west of warragul. so that would put it heading up towards neerim roughly.

    thats the one mate. iv been reading about some colour found in the creeks around warragul and in some places giving up quite a bit. But, as you would know, finding that spot that people are talking about is next to impossible, thats if it even exists in the first place.
