Energizer batteries are 1.5 volts not 1.8 data.energizer.com/PDFs/l91.pdf so voltage is only 12.00 I can confirm the TDI Pro & regular get better depth at 18 volts. Afraid to try 21.6 in mine. Know nothing about the SPP, PI like power wither you can use it without a lot of noise is the issue...
