How may are '47s???

Isn't the shaft made of carbon fibre? I thought it would be stronger than that. Better a broken shaft than a stuffed coil or contol box though I guess.

Wow...the 17x13 is awesome. Between the 3 coils you won't miss a thing! By the way, what is the find on the far right in the pic below the 3 coils? I found one once, and I still can't work out what it is.

While it's not a very good comparison, I have a coiltek 10x5 (terracotta) that I have for the e-trac. It is brilliant. I think it's way better than the minelab 8 inch FBS I have as well. If the black coiltek 10x5 for the CTX is as good as the older terracotta version for the older FBS detectors...

Yes, I've heard the same things about the knobs, which is why I have been extra careful with them. As you can see from the pics, they are still in perfect order. I was planning on Auspost (assuming the box isn't too big), and Paypal is fine if you're happy with $1000.
