Popeye 54 here.Just reading your posts instead of using a wiper motor, if you can find a 12volt boat trailer boat whinch instead . I made a caravan mover to move my 2.5 tonne caravan, using bicycle sprockets and chain. Just a thought Regards Greg Popeye54

Hi everyone I am a newbee. GREG. MOUNT WARRIGAL NSW (WOLLONGONG)

Wally, The big news for me today is that I picked up my detector today a Garrett AT GOLD. I decided on this machine as I don't have any experience and that $1100 jump off point is a fairly high price to start with. Thankyou for your support and will chat again. Regards Greg Popeye54 Good night. :)

Wally, I guess that you haven't read my earlier posts that know that I have the Tuena dates which are 9th to 12th july we will be in queensland. I forgot to write that my pump delivers 15,700 litres per hr or 260 litres per minute.

Hi everyone I am a newbee. GREG. MOUNT WARRIGAL NSW (WOLLONGONG)

That's good I have 240 volt submersible pump 8 metre head, 8 metre submersion depth and 1&1/2 inch delivery so that will be good for a trial, once I have built my walbanker!!!. See I have been watching a lot of video . Regards Greg

Hi everyone I am a newbee. GREG. MOUNT WARRIGAL NSW (WOLLONGONG)

Hi Scrounger, thankyou for the dates in July for Tuena, but it probable wont work for me now as my wife Sue has signed up for a hat making seminar in Brisbane the last week in June going into July. WE had then intended travelling further north with our caravan. But things may change who knows...

Hi everyone I am a newbee. GREG. MOUNT WARRIGAL NSW (WOLLONGONG)

Hi Wal, it was very interesting what you had spoken earlier to day. What do you feel that the flow rate of water would need to be to run a highbanker ? Meaning gallons or litres per hour. Regards Greg

Hi everyone I am a newbee. GREG. MOUNT WARRIGAL NSW (WOLLONGONG)

Hi Doug, I made my decision yesterday. I bought a Garrett AT GOLD and a Garrett PANNING KIT total cost $1175. I guess the next thing is to obtain a permit. The meet-up in Tuena sounds interesting, depending on what dates. My wife SUE has a Hat making seminar last week in June / July in Brisbane...
