Hey Wal n Liz, thanks for your U tube video's, thats how we got onto this foum and never thought of "stones". Think we will do some panning while we decide on which detector and maybe look at a sluice down the track.

Been visiting the place since I was a kid (4wding with dad) and recently on dirt bikes, great place and I have come across plenty of people panning / sluicing out there so there must be gold out there, steep country though!
