Hey SA I have completed 90% of your list here in Adelaide ... all on our metro beaches! You may not know but all the parks in the Adelaide area have been flogged to death - hence the reason you are only finding the copper stuff around ... Good Luck Cheers paulmarr

DSA I am not surprised you are not finding many silvers - especially if you are detecting in the Marion Council area. I have lived in the area for 27 years and aside from my son and I detecting most of the parks, tot lots, and vacant land, I have seen countless "old timers" over the years...

Well done mate - let me sprinkle additional pixie dust to bring them gold rings under your detector - well deserved and very nice finds! I am off on a trip across the country and up the coast (Syd/Bris/Cairns) in the month of March so I hope some of those beaches show some gold ... haven't been...

Both DSA - my son has a CTX and proceeded to point me to a target - ran the dectector across and nothing - his beeps and he pulls out a shilling. Also the falsing in wet sand or inches of water negates any chance of finding the goods. Unless the target is 3-4 inches down it has no hope.

Just to add even the cheaper Go Find 40 or 60 will out perform the ACE on the beach ...
