Thanks marksman Have been looking at various maps and looks like there has been gold there in the past so might check it out. Definitely cold there Makka been trail bike riding in the past in the mountains there in winter. :cool:

Thanks guys. There is a small reef about 20km away which held a small amount of gold back in the gold rush days so i thought that maybe the creek that runs past comes from that area might have some gold in it possibly washed down stream.
