Hi Smoky, Great work with the 705 mate and nice to see you're back giving me some more insperation for my 705 :Y: What's your trick for cleaning golds and silvers? I've tried bicarb and al foil but it didn't clean them up real good.

Thanks Manpa, I searched the BICwarehouse store and they don't seem to have stock atm. I'll check out some other sellers. I'll be interested to see how this goes in the field as Fiskars gear is usually pretty good quality. :Y:

I'd also like to know this please. How much salt to vinegar ratio? I just stupidly done my golds and silvers together with al foil and bicarb and now the silvers have tarnished and neither cleaned very well. :(

I'd also say its equiped with a decent 240v inverter setup. If you're lucky it may also come with a defibrillator for those slow Sunday morning starts :Y: :D

Hi, If your son is not in a desperate rush to buy, I'd hold out for the release of the Minelab Equinox 600. It is fully submersible to 3m, comes with wired headphones (many people believe headphones are a must), in built battery which is usb rechargeable, should just keep you in 3 numbers on...

I've been hanging out for this release. Hopefully reviews are great for the Equinox. Then I can lie, pretend, make excuses and whatever else it takes to convince myself I desperately need to upgrade from the 705 :D
