Thanks for the advice on chapel Hill phase tech. Spent couple hours wondering and having a swing every now and then. Definitely alot nicer ground then Jupiter creek. Managed to find a couple prices of junk so I'm happy. Will be heading back there soon.
Thanks guys. I know I got a lifetime of learning in front of me. Will def give chapel Hill a go. I've read to dig every target whilst learning the machine but if I did that at JC I would have to turn the place upside down.
I just loved getting out bush with the family, if I can find some Yella...

Newbie question but are the garnets worth much? I have been working as a stonemason for the last five or so years and always see why I think are garnets and gold specks in slabs of granite and marble. Got a heap of off cuts with garnets with a heap of what I think are red/purple garnets put...
Went there today for first time. Few people with detectors out. And a few fresh holes. All I had was a small shovel a bucket and some pans. Didn't find a water source but I was randomly walking around ( half got lost ) watch out a few mine shafts that aren't fenced in. Found some nice looking...
