    Good stuff guys. yea i like the look of the lesche type shovel, i have a small foldable camping shovel, maybe ill try that before shelling out a hundy for a new one. i just read about the guys carving up all the council irrigation... lol, got me worried now ;-)

    Was having a go along a river bank today and using the garrett digging tool for recovery. But the ground soil was so hard the rubber handle split, I got a nice skin chunk took out of my finger and got blisters from trying to force open the ground.     Haha thanks chaps. Yea was a right treat. Found a few big bullets which appeared to be melted inside the casings, maybe from a brushfire?? You seen these before?? Onward and upward now, looking for the million dollar find! It's actually not that easy to find old coins here, I'd rather find one...

    Yea mate, it came in the post yesterday, brand spanking new coil with the existing shafts, more than I could of asked for, I'm well chuffed :-)

    Garrett phoned today and says they have replaced the coil and lead but have kept the existing shafts, so nearly new is good enough for me. Looking forward to giving it a swing now and digging up some more junk for my collection ;-)

    Na mate, the other coil is neatly recoils into the shaft. Garrett says to send it in and they'll take a look.
